What YOU (the Driver) Earn
On a 4-mile round trip (~15 min), that's ~$11.60/hr pace if you average 2 runs per hour. Tips not guaranteed but typical.

Earning Potential & Heavy Deliveries
Basic Pay: Standard deliveries generally pay a base rate plus mileage.
Increase Your Earnings: You may earn more per delivery by adding verifications to your profile, such as a Commercial/Delivery Insurance Endorsement or an ASE Certified Vehicle Inspection. These verifications unlock higher earning potential.
Heavy or Large Deliveries: Delivering products from hardware stores, grocery stores, or offices (like cases of water, 8ft boards, 10ft pipes, or 4x8 plywood) often pays a premium.
Self-Loading/Unloading: You can earn even more on these heavy deliveries if you are physically able to self-load the items at the store and self-unload them at the destination. If you require assistance from store staff or the customer, the payout may be adjusted accordingly.
Trailers: Attaching a trailer to your vehicle opens up opportunities for the largest and heaviest deliveries, maximizing your earning potential.
Vehicle & Trailer Safety
Trailer Requirements: If you use a trailer, please be aware that many states require specific license plates and registration for trailers. It is your responsibility to ensure your trailer is legal in your state.
Mandatory Trailer Safety: Every trailer used on the Airdrop platform MUST have:
- A safety pin or lock securing the coupler to the hitch ball.
- Two safety chains crossed and attached.
- Fully functional brake lights, tail lights, and turn signals.
The 1-Minute Cancellation Rule
When a heavy or large delivery is requested, the first driver to accept it gets the job.
You have exactly 1 minute after accepting a delivery to review the item descriptions and requirements. If you realize the items are too heavy, too large, or you cannot safely transport them (like cases of water or long pipes), you can cancel the delivery within that 1-minute window without any penalty.
This allows you to secure the job immediately, but safely back out if it exceeds your vehicle's or physical capacity, passing the opportunity to the next available driver.
